Ice Cold Words Festival

Come to the launch of the Ice Cold Words Festival on Friday, 23 June 7.30 p.m. in the Peacock Theatre, Salamanca Arts Centre, Hobart.

A special Antarctic issue of Island will be launched by Sir Guy Green, after which Robert Jarman and others will perform a unique Antarctic presentation. Then Tim Bowden will MC a panel of writers and scientists discussing life in Antarctica.

A great way to celebrate the Winter solstice.
All welcome to this special writers’ festival event.

For a selection of the many fascinating books about Antarctica go to http://www.hobartbookshop.com.au/ice_cold_books or phone (03) 6223 1803.
