Karen Knight wins Dorothy Hewett Fellowship and is off to the Edinburgh Festival

Karen Knight has been awarded the prestigious Dorothy Hewett Fellowship comprising 4 weeks’ retreat at Varuna Writers’ House, with editorial mentorship from well-known poet Deb Westbury.

As part of this award Karen Knight will be presented at the 2006 Sydney Writers’ Festival and at two satellite festival events in Orange (NSW), and Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. Karen Knight will also receive a three-week residency in Edinburgh and presentation at the Edinburgh Festival.
