Tasmanian Book Fair, Sunday, 13th August 2006

On Sunday, 13th August 2006, arts@work will hold the first ever Tasmanian Book Fairas a feature event of Tasmanian Living Writers' Week.

"Expressions of interest are now being sought from Australian publishers, self-publishers and booksellers who have publications having some association with Tasmania, to be a part of this exciting event."

The aim is to "showcase the strength and variety of Tasmanian literature today".

The closing Date for Expressions of Interest is Monday, 13th February.

The Fair is being held on a Sunday so as not to clash with the Salamanca Market, and I believe it will be big. The invitation reads as follows:

---- START of forwarded message ---

Tasmanian Living Writers' Week will be a program of literary events and functions that will take place across Tasmania from 11 - 20th August. The Book Fair will be held in Hobart and will showcase the strength and variety of Tasmanian literature today.

Expressions of interest are now being sought from Australian publishers, self-publishers and booksellers who have publications having some association with Tasmania, to be a part of this exciting event.

Attached is the application for Exhibitor Expressions of Interest. This is an initial interest only and not a secure place at the Book Fair. The selection panel will meet in February and applications will be evaluated on the strength of meeting the selection criteria and the ability to add variety to the Book Fair.

I hope you will consider this opportunity to be involved in a unique and exciting event. If you have any questions regarding the Expression of Interest process, please do not hesitate to contact me on ph: (03) 6233 5935 or, email: alicia.james@artsatwork.com.au. I will be away from the 22nd December and returning to work on Tuesday, 3rd January.

Closing Date for Expressions of Interest is Monday, 13th February.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
