A new take on poetry publishing

“You come to it with a different mentality if you aren’t asking for grants and donations,”

So says Charlie Wright, son of American art patrons Virginia and Bagley Wright. He is about to start a poetry publishing house in Seattle – for profit. The press is expected to bring out ten books a year, focusing on “mid-career American poets,” the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.
