Republic Readings chapbook n.9 (post 2)

I was asked to review Republic Readings chapbook n.9 here on the Latte Line. And as my previous post indicated, I had began to do so, but I am finding it hard continue with the review. I think it is mainly because I am one of the poets in the collection, and it just does not seem right for me to review it... Just as it is not really quite right to be in a journal if you are on the editorial board. (I used to have work sometimes in Famous Reporter but that was mostly because I was not really functioning as one of the editors anymore).

(I used to be in Famous Reporter but that was mostly because I was not really functioning as one of the editors anymore, just a token on the title page).

Anyway, for information about this fine mini-collection of poetry, and for information about previous issues, please contact the series editor Liz Winfield 9 Grove Road Glenorchy TAS 7010.

Well, speaking for myself, I am overwhelmed with work and have reached the end of the line. Thank you, Ivy, for posting things here in my absense. Thank you, the stranger-reader, for reading. "I am going out for a while. I may be some time ..."

Does Australia Need an ICAC for Poetry?  David Musgrave's article in Southerly is not new, but it's worth reading if you missed it....
