Wildcare Tasmania Nature Writing Prize 2005

In my copy of Island, there was a bright green flyer for the Wildcare Tasmania Nature Writing Prize 2005: A literary prose competiton in the genre of nature writing, open to entries in both fiction and nonfiction with a first prize of $AUD5,000 and a wilderness residency in Tasmania.

Only trouble is I can't find anything online about it and have no time to type out the flyer ... But: entry forms should be on the ISLAND magazine web site at http://www.islandmag.com in a short while.

The closing date for entries is the 21st Feb. 2005 and the word limit is 2,000 to 5,000 words. Judges: Dr Pete Hay and Dr Veronica Brady.

Does Australia Need an ICAC for Poetry?  David Musgrave's article in Southerly is not new, but it's worth reading if you missed it....
