Last Sunday's Sunday Tasmanian had among its lit. newsy pieces two interesting bits of news for poets:

1) New: the Claudio Alcorso residency, contact Cassandra Pybus for details

2) Expressions of interest are called for Helen Gee's anthology of Tasmanian poetry (200 years, 'heritage work')

-- if I can find the exact citations I will amend this post with all suitable detail. Or someone could email it to me at ahugo@tassie.net.au Thanks!

Does Australia Need an ICAC for Poetry?  David Musgrave's article in Southerly is not new, but it's worth reading if you missed it....
