GLOSS is a new journal located at http://www.glosszine.org . GLOSS is a web-quarterly featuring both text and visual art, and its first issue has just appeared. My friend Lionel Abrahams is in the first issue, and his message to me about GLOSS quoted their beautifully worded promotional message ...

" This is a non-profit (i.e., money-losing) venture that, we hope, will continue to lose money for a very long time. Civilization is expensive, after all. GLOSS will publish fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, and critical articles.

"Though GLOSS is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, its outlook is universal. Art and ideas should cross borders, not set them."
